This session will examine the moral responsibilities of healthcare leaders and how those can be translated into actionable, effective, and measurable strategy amid growing policy and market pressures. As federal budget and CMS changes threaten to increase uninsured rates and deepen care gaps, leaders must balance operational performance with a patient-centered compass – starting with an honest examination of how their own lived experiences shape the choices they make. Attendees will gain a better sense of how to anchor decision-making in personal purpose, communicate emotional and operational impacts, create ROI frameworks that capture clinical and human value, and build high-impact collaborations with payers, community partners, and other systems.
On the Panel we have:
- Vanessa Guzman, CEO, SmartRise Health, Moderator
- Stephen Rosenthal, SVP Population Health, Montefiore Health System
- Jasmaine McClain, Executive Director, Health Impact Alliance, The Health Management Academy
