Speaker profile: DENIS LECLERC

Denis Leclerc is Professor of Cross-Cultural Communication and Global Negotiations at Thunderbird School of Global Management, which is based in Glendale, Arizona. 

The Thunderbird School of Global Management is one of the world’s leading institutions for global leadership, management and business education. It was the world’s first academic institution to specialize in international management by concentrating its graduate curriculum on cross-cultural communication, regional and international affairs, and hands-on, real-world training in the nuances of global business at the intersection of public policy and law.

Denis teaches in multiple programs such as the on-campus MBA, Executive MBA, customized programs such as Thunderbird International Consortia, and multiple oil and gas executive programs. He also serves as the academic director for multiple custom programs such as Raytheon, Novartis and Medtronic, and open-enrollment programs such as Communicating and Negotiating with a Global Mindset and Leading Teams for Strategic Results.

Denis is also an active and highly sought-after consultant. As the principal of his own consulting company, he has conducted cross-cultural research for companies in North America and France. He is a keynote speaker and seminar leader for various companies such as American Express, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and ExxonMobil on topics as varied as cultural misunderstanding, improving multi-cultural awareness, and cultural strategic negotiation preparation.
